Americas Society (AS) is the premier national not-for-profit institution dedicated exclusively to education about the Western Hemisphere. Its purpose is to foster an understanding of the contemporary political, social and economic issues confronting Latin America, the Caribbean and Canada.

Council of the Americas (COA) is an international business organization whose corporate members share a common commitment to economic development, open markets, the rule of law, and democracy throughout the Western Hemisphere. Its purpose is to encourage strong commercial and trade relations among the businesses and economies of the Americas.
