Joan Jonas (Artist), Ute Meta Bauer (Associate Professor and Director, Visual Arts Program, Massachusetts Institute of Technology), and Patricia Sloane (Writer, founding member of SITAC). Moderated by Pablo Helguera (Artist).
This will be the first instance of the SITAC Book Presentation Series. SITAC is organized annually by the Patronato de Arte Contemporáneo (Contemporary Art Patronage).
This program will bring to New York the important contributions and debates of the International Symposium on Contemporary Art Theory (also known as SITAC: Simposio Internacional de Teoría de Arte Contemporáneo) organized every year by the Patronage for Contemporary Art in Mexico City (PAC: Patronato de Arte Contemporáneo). The resonance and the importance of this symposium will be conveyed through this multidisciplinary panel of past SITAC participants.
