Cuban Arts and Culture Festival ¡Sí Cuba! to Play Multiple NYC Venues March 31 - June 16

¡Sí Cuba!, a festival showcasing the diversity of Cuban arts and culture from the traditional to the contemporary, will be held in multiple venues in New York City, March 31-June 16.

Theater-related highlights will include New York-based producer, director and translator Joanna Pottlitzer discussing her English version of Cuban playwright, José Triana's Palabras comunes (Americas Society, April 11); rapper, activist, and poet Telmary Diaz (BAMCafe, April 23); and Ballet Nacional de Cuba in a program featuring scenes from Giselle, The Sleeping Beauty, The Nutcracker,Coppélia, Swan Lake, and Don Quixote (BAM Howard Gilman Opera House, June 8-11).

The festival will also include feature screenings of award-winning films; concerts of son, rumba, hip-hop, and more; intimate discussions with Cuban writers, dancers, musicians, and thinkers; dance engagements; visual art exhibitions; literary events and more.
